Shown yesterday(April 17,2009 ) in the US 17 Again movie starring Hollywood's Fair-Haired Boy and arguably the biggest teen star in America as of 2006, Zac Efron unleashes his box-office blood against the teen pop sensation Miley Cyrus a.k.a Hannah Montana.Zac Efron's movie 17again garnered $26 million right on it's first day while compared to Hannah Montana Movie garnered $34 million on a three day Easter weekend. That makes 17 again to steal the number 1 spot by Hannah Montana movie which have been over performing at the box office lately.

This Two Disney Channel babies are going to have a cat fight for the box office title for the coming weeks since 17 again movie was distributed by one of the rival companies of Disney in terms of Movie production -Warner Brothers.Hannah Montana given the rating of "G" when compared to 17 again's "PG 13" is likely to attract older crowds and with Zac Efron's heartthrob factor no wonder it will draw teeny girls to watch the movie. Before the two movies were released there were several expectations and speculations that after the 1st week of Hannah Montana Movie, 17 again will steal it's spot and it just did. Thanks to the High School Musical franchise, Efron brings with him legions of HSM fans who should make this movie No. 1 in the US Box Office until the ranking is finally over. It's not just HSM in which Zac's stardom rose he has been a part of Hairspray years ago that would seem to attract more adults for his movie as of today.Though shockingly there were several issues linked to Zac Efron like "Zac Efron Gay Kiss Scandal" which I have posted a month ago.But I don't think It'll do a great impact on the movie production.
